Thirparappu Waterfalls

At Thirparappu in Kanyakumari district, the Kodayar river spreads across a broad rock shelf and falls into a wide pool. Families come to bathe in the shallow water below the falls, and an old Shiva temple, the Thirparappu Mahadevar Temple, stands beside the river.
